Holidays & Seasons

During special holidays and seasons, I often take a break from what we are working on to teach applicable Bible truths that go well with the holiday or the season. Autumn is a great time to celebrate thanking God, as well as do some fun crafts about Martin Luther, etc. We might also make Bible verse pictures to share with trick or treaters. Christmas, of course, could easily stay in Bible stories, but here – you’ll usually find it in holidays and seasons since I have fun expanding it to include lots of fun activities for grand-toddlers and preschoolers with my grandchildren.
This also is great for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day – Patriotic holidays when we discuss praying for our leaders and our nations, as the Bible teaches, Santa Claus and St. Patrick’s Day to celebrate strong men of God, Valentine’s Day for 1 Corinthians 13, and more!
